Less Ceiling, More Sky
In the Hebrew Scriptures, vineyard or garden is often a metaphor for lover, and I invite you today to view the earth as a lover that is always available to us when we take the time and space to draw from her life-giving energy, and which depends on our care in return. I deal with plenty of stress and challenge in my every day life. Maybe you can relate? In all the places I seek support and connection, the air, earth, and sky is always there waiting, whether I walk, run, hike, bike, play, or just sit outside stare out into the horizon.
Where do you see God in nature? How does the earth nourish you? Where do you find your peace among the wild things? E-mail vanessa@thads.org and share a thought, practice, story, quote, or poem and find this week's phone wallpaper below!
And then...get outside!
With Lenten Love as Big as the Sky :)
